On January 24th and 30th, two local dialogues were carried out in Rionegro and Bagre respectively, and young people from different academic institutions attended this meeting. The event was organized by Caja de Compensación Familiar Comfenalco Antioquia with the cooperation of the institutions' authorities.

Desastres Naturales Diálogo Local, Antioquia 2012

PANAMA: on February 13th from 8:00am - 2:00 pm Panama City, conducted its local dialogue "Dialogo Nacional de Juventud de Panama" this event was organized by YABT with cooperation of the Universidad Latina de Panama and the Youth Foundation Leaders.

On February 10TH, young people from Manizales and nearby cities met in the "Dialogo local juvenil previo a la Cumbre de Las Américas", organized by Grupo CAJU, La Red de Jóvenes de Ambiente, CORPOCALDAS, Sociedad de Mejoras Públicas de Manizales, Alcaldía Municipal, Policía de Caldas and Unidad de Juventud. This local dialogue is part of the national consultation process and was carried out with support of local authorities.

En el mes de enero, la organización Corpoalegría convocó a un grupo de jóvenes discapacitados, víctimas de la violencia, quienes desde su condición diferencial, aportaron sus perspectivas y dieron a conocer sus puntos de vista para nutrir el proceso hacia Cartagena.

El 9 de febrero, la organización internacional JCI, Capítulo Santafe de Tierralinda, reunió en el recinto de la Comisión Sexta del Senado de la República, a 50 jóvenes lideres de diversas nacionalidades pertenecientes a diversas organizaciones juveniles, quienes dieron sus aportes rumbo al III Foro y la VI Cumbre de las Américas.

Próximamente, el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, YABT y diversas organizaciones juveniles, realizarén el Diálogo Nacional de Jóvenes, donde se sintetizarán las propuestas recogidas en los diversos eventos realizado a lo largo y ancho del país.

El 7, 8 y 9 de febrero, el Consejo Municipal de Juventud y la Red Juvenil de Sabanagrande "REJUSA" reunieron a un grupo representativo de jóvenes de su municipio, para discutir sobre los 4 subtemas de la VI Cumbre de las Américas.

El dialogo se realizó para el departamento de Risaralda virtual a través de un grupo en facebook, durante la semana del 03 al 08 de febrero de 2011.

On January 6th 2012, young people from El Salvador held their first local dialogue "Dialogo de la Juventud Salvadoreña" with the support of Asociación para el Desarrollo de la Educación, Salud, Medio Ambiente e Infraestructura de El Salvador (ALDESAI), and the Young Americas Business Trust; in cooperation with the National Youth Council (CONJUVE), PNUD, COMURES, VOTAJOVEN. This dialogue opened up spaces to gather young people from all over the country and outline issues that their country is facing in relation to the themes of the VI Summit of the Americas.

Prior to he XXI Ibero American Metting of Heads of State and Government, 105 young representatives from 20 countries participated in the event Vanguardia Iberomaericana , a Hemispheric Dialogue held in October 23 - 26, 2011 in Asuncion, Paraguay.
